We are going on a date tonight! I find this very worthy of a blogging about, considering it's only our 2nd date night 'out' in 2 months. Paul's wonderful mom is going to watch Conner (he will be asleep, so it should be pretty easy :) ) so we can go out. I'm so excited to go out with my hot husband and spend time together and enjoy getting out! Well, I gotta go fix my makeup and get ready! Woo hoo! (this pic is from one of our first dates in 2004)
YAY... that is sooooo good that you got to get out. Mitch and i went on a date last night and it had been 3 weeks since our last... so i dont feel so bad! if you ever need a babysitter. i am more than willing! :) ps. seriously you need to come over for games or something one night!
Woo hoo!! You two deserve it. It's amazing how releasing it is to go out just the two of you, to be kind of "young" again. But still you miss your little one and are so excited to see them when you return! Hope you guys had a blast! Keep up the date nights!
After Nathan become more "stable" we started doing a babysitting swap with 3 other couples in my neighborhood. We've been doing it for almost 2 years now and it has been so great! The other families are very aware of Nathan's immune system issues and are good to tell us when their kids have been sick.
Paul and I met at LDS Business College in 2003 and got married in September 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. Marriage is the BEST! We love to have tons of fun! Whether it's playing games with friends, going on a cruise, having pillow fights, or just hanging out, you will always find us laughing! In February 2010 we welcomed with much excitement, our greatest joy, baby boy Conner. He was born with a heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot and spent 72 days in the NICU. He had open heart surgery when he was 4/12 months old to repair his sweet, broken heart. He is now fed via a gtube in his tummy, and is on the long road of learning how to eat with his mouth. He is our greatest accomplishment and teaches us everyday about love and patience. I am blessed to be a SAHM to Conner, and we just love our little family!

Have fun! We don't leave Ellie with anybody but a few family members. But it's always fun to be able to sneek out.
